THE RAFFLE WINNER WILL RECEIVE A PRIVATE PERFORMANCE BY UNCLE LUCIUS AS WELL AS SIGNED COPIES OF BOTH STUDIO ALBUMS AND A COPY OF THE SOON TO BE RELEASED "LIVE FROM THE SAXON PUB" ALBUM. Whether it was his time spent with blues master Buddy Guy, or his stint with rocker Buddy Miles, Eric George has what it takes to move audiences. With a style mixed with rock, blues, soul and pop, Eric has kept true to his roots while not being unfaithful to himself. "The question every musician hates to hear is, 'what kind of music do you play', or 'who do you sound like'. I just say, 'I'm Eric. Here I am'."

And "here he is" is exactly what audiences have been chanting for years. Eric has been a professional musician since the age of 8, which has helped form the musician and man he is today. "I started in my family's band when I was really young, on drums actually. Both of my grandfathers were really talented musicians, so the feel of music just came natural to me. I picked up the guitar early on and over the years that just stuck. I pulled from many different sources of inspiration in those early days."

Eric has a wide array of influences from country to pop to singer-songwriter to guitar-driven rock. "I've been involved in many genres of music. I've toured with blues artists, rockers, signed Nashville country artists on major record labels as guitarist and band leader. I've slugged away in dives and 30,000 seaters, so I know what it takes to sustain a career on an independent level as well as the multi-million dollar level. Though you kind of get spoiled...the planes, the tour buses, the fantsy hotels...it's a lot different than jumpin in a van and collecting mustard packets from fast food joints, but both have been instrumental in forming the person I am today."

Whatever level he is performing and whatever genre he is playing, there is one thing that is constant; Eric George is true to the music. He not only makes the music he loves, he lives the music he makes.
